What to check before going out

  • pre-departure margin=240—the model’s own conservative margin. Etihad's usual recommendation for departures from Abu Dhabi is a minimum of 3 hours; it applies to flights of this airline.
  • Etihad recommends a minimum of 4 hours prior to flights to the US due to US preclearance. If your airline or route requires more inventory, increase it; do not automatically reduce for other destinations.
  • The AUH Travel Alerts page posted overnight baggage system service 23:00-05:00 and recommended a minimum of 3.5 hours. There are no validity dates listed on the page: please double-check the current alert before traveling.
  • The official transfer guide describes the main terminal, interchange security and Transfer Desk. If baggage is checked in to your final destination, it is usually not collected at AUH; Confirm the specific design using the luggage tag and with the carrier.
  • Calculation limited to Abu Dhabi city. It is not a route to Dubai or Al Ain; Yas major parks are not automatically added to the cultural stop.
  • The plan is only valid with confirmed eligibility to enter the UAE via citizenship, passport and visa/permit. The duration of the transfer in itself does not give the right to go into the city. If clearance is not confirmed, remain in the transit area.
  • The required transit visa must be issued and approved in advance. The planner does not check documents or issue a visa; Current conditions are confirmed with the airline and the competent authorities.
  • Check with the airline whether your baggage is checked in to your final destination and whether it needs to be collected and checked in again. Baggage collection, storage and re-check-in may require additional time beyond the model.
  • For independent transfers, separate tickets or changing airports, this route cannot be considered confirmed. First, coordinate entry, baggage, ground transfers and new registration; The route is designed for arrival and departure from one airport.
  • All dates and times are entered in UAE, Asia/Dubai local time. Departure dates after midnight must be indicated separately; the scheduler should not consider such a flight to have departed on the previous day.
  • Stock from boarding to exit Stock at exit = 90 - an assumption of the model, not an official standard and not a guarantee of immigration passage. Flight delays and long queues reduce walking time.
  • Additional travel reserve travel reserve=30 is a one-time model assumption above the total trips. It is not based on live traffic and may not be sufficient during traffic, bad weather or closures.
  • All travel and visit minutes are approximate. Visiting windows are limitations of our daily scenario, not confirmed opening hours. Before traveling, manually check the date, mode, access, possible show and ticket.
  • Amount: departure after landing + travel there + visits + transfers between stops + travel back + travel reserves + reserves before departure. If the entire amount does not fit between the actual arrival and departure, the outbound route is diverted.
  • During severe weather, traffic restrictions or unconfirmed return transport, refuse the walk regardless of the calculation result. The minimum transit-connection time cannot be used to enter the city.

Minimum return margin calculation: 4 hours. Increase this if the airline or route requires more time.
