Where to go in Abu Dhabi: mosque, museums and Yas Island

Abu Dhabi works best when you separate Saadiyat Island culture, the Grand Mosque and a full day on Yas Island. Four highlights do not need to fit into one short outing.

What to see

Louvre Abu Dhabi

How to organise your visits

Start with Louvre Abu Dhabi and leave time for the waterfront. On another day combine the Grand Mosque with Qasr Al Watan, while Ferrari World deserves a separate plan because Yas Island travel and queues need a time buffer.

Avoid unnecessary costs

Compare what the ticket includes and its entry window, not only the headline price. One museum plus a free waterfront walk can cover a cultural day; book a Yas park after checking the calendar and restrictions.

Before you go

Allow for travel and security checks between Saadiyat, central Abu Dhabi and Yas Island. Check the mosque dress code and registration, and review height limits and ride availability for parks.

The route is an editorial suggestion for independent travel. Check journey times, schedules and entry conditions before setting out.
